Appointment types

  • During your first visit, Dr. Rachel will take the time to discuss your current condition and medical history, conduct a thorough examination, and provide treatment if appropriate. This appointment is designed to give you the space to share your concerns, ask questions, and leave with a clear understanding of your care.

  • Pregnancy is a special time, and your care should reflect that.

During your first prenatal visit, Dr. Rachel will take the time to discuss your medical history and current concerns, as well as your birth team, your birth goals, and how chiropractic care can best support you throughout your pregnancy journey. A thorough examination will be conducted and treatment provided if appropriate.

Your comfort is a priority — we use a specially designed pregnancy pillow that allows you to lie face down and receive a full adjustment safely and comfortably, even as your belly grows.

  • For children from birth to 7 years.

It is never too early — or too late — to support your child's health through chiropractic care. Dr. Rachel sees patients from the very first day of life through retirement, and everything in between.

Newborns and infants can benefit from chiropractic care right away. Birth, no matter how it unfolds, is a physical experience for both mother and baby. Dr. Rachel loves to work alongside parents to explore how their little one can benefit from chiropractic Care. Whether that's addressing tension from positioning in the womb, recovery from a difficult birth, or providing support alongside a lip or tongue tie release.

Parents are encouraged to ask every question along the way. Your involvement and peace of mind are just as important as your child's adjustment.

For those nervous about what a pediatric adjustment looks like, rest assured, it is nothing like an adult adjustment. For infants, Dr. Rachel uses only about 5 grams of pressure — roughly the same amount you'd use to check if an avocado is ripe. Gentle, safe, and effective at every age and stage.

  • Your needs are always evolving, and your care should reflect that. At each established patient visit, Dr. Rachel will reassess where you are that day, checking in on your progress, adjusting her approach as needed, and incorporating any supportive therapies that will best serve you. No two visits are exactly alike, because no two days in your body are exactly alike

Supportive therapies

Dr. Rachel takes a whole-person approach to your care. Depending on your individual needs, she may incorporate one or more of the following therapies into your appointment to enhance your results and support your healing.

Kinesiotaping

Kinesiotape is a flexible, elastic therapeutic tape used to support muscles and joints during more acute conditions. It can help reduce pain and inflammation while allowing you to maintain your normal range of motion between appointments.

Graston Technique

Graston is a specialized form of instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation. Using carefully designed tools, Dr. Rachel is able to detect and treat areas of scar tissue, fascial restriction, and muscle tension that can contribute to pain and limited mobility.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that focuses on the rhythm of the craniosacral system — from the skull to the base of the spine. It supports nervous system health, promotes deep relaxation, and can be particularly beneficial for infants, children, and postpartum mothers.

BEMER Therapy

BEMER is a Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) device designed to improve micro-circulation throughout the body. By enhancing blood flow at the cellular level, BEMER therapy can help decrease pain and amplify the effects of your chiropractic adjustment — helping you feel better, faster.
